Installation instructions:
1. You MUST already have the Creative DOS software (including DOS drivers)
installed. If you do not have this software installed, please do so
before proceeding.
2. Check to see if you have a VOCUTIL directory under the main directory
that your SB software is installed in. It should be one of the
following:
For SB 2.0 users \SB\VOCUTIL
For SB Pro users \SBPRO\VOCUTIL
For SB 16 users \SB16\VOCUTIL (This includes AWE and Phone Blaster
cards.)
If this directory does not exist, then change into the drive and
directory that the SB software is installed into and issue the
following command:
MD VOCUTIL
3. Copy all of the contents of this archive into the VOCUTIL directory.
If you have extracted the files to the \TEMP directory and have a SB
Pro card, then the command would be:
COPY \TEMP\*.* \SBPRO\VOCUTIL

NOTE: Some versions of the DOS drivers for the card (CT-VOICE.DRV, etc.)
will REQUIRE that the low-level DOS drivers (CTSB20.SYS, CTSBPRO.SYS
or CTSB16.SYS and CTMMSYS.SYS) be installed. These drivers take up
conventional memory, but CAN be loaded high (if you are getting this
update off of CompuServe see the DRIVER.TXT file in Lib 14 / Freq.
Asked Questions for additional info on these drivers, or consult
your manual or the README.TXT file in the directory your SB software
is installed in).
NOTE: If you have problems getting this package to run, try using the most
recent update file available for your card.
NOTE: Some versions of the DOS drivers may not allow the packing function
to work.
